J.K. Rowling just started up a website, Pottermore. She’s going to make a surprise announcement in 4 days. Who else is super excited?! This announcement came at the perfect time, just as the depression was starting to set in that the last part of the last movie is coming out. Well, at least, I was getting depressed about it.

Author J.K. Rowling has launched a mysterious website called “Pottermore.” The site links to a YouTube page counting down to “J.K. Rowling’s announcement” in six days (as of this June 16 writing).

I Know im very excited! When i saw the last trailer for the new movie, I started to think OH NO MY CHILDHOOD IS ENDING!! Glad to see that J.K Rowling Read my mind lol

I had the exact same tragic thought process! My childhood is OVER. I’m in NYC right now and there’s a Harry Potter exhibit at the Discovery museum. I think I might go and see it after the movie comes out to extend my childhood era just a bit longer just in case J.K. Rowling ends up disappointing.

The article says she said…it’s not another book. Sad. But maybe that just means whatever she writes isn’t gonna be in book format. Maybe…”Pottermore” will regularly be updated with short stories and other things that happen in the Potter Universe. OMG. I’m tweaking right now.

I know I know, stop crushing my dreams! I can live in denial for a couple more days until the official announcement. And I really like the posting of short stories idea. Did you ever read The Tales of Beedle the Bard that came out a few Christmases ago? Or maybe it will be Harry Potter’s official blog, the way Mia Thermopolis has a blog! Very exciting.

An ideal state of affairs would be a new book (or several) and the blog/short-stories. Short stories or a blog would be epic because…in the long run, it would probably consist of more new content. Immafan.
